Who We Are?

AD~net 

 is a community based network (CBN) incorporated in 1998 as a not-for-profit organization under the laws of Ontario. It is supported by public and private sector organizations from the Algoma District and elsewhere. The ADnet mission is to facilitate the development and advancement  of state-of-the-art Information and Communication Technology infrastructure and community awareness in the service of the residents of the region .  Members may pay an annual fee which entitles them to memberships benefits. The new Tbaytel CDMA cell site near Wawa is now operational effective 25 Feb 11.

The new Bell cell site near Desbarats is now operational effective 23 Dec 10. It only operates in the HSPA mode and will not work with CDMA handsets.
